Hua Xi is a poet and writer. Her poems have appeared in The New Yorker, The Paris Review, The Nation, The New Republic and elsewhere. She was most recently a Stegner Fellow in poetry at Stanford.
She previously won the Boston Review Poetry Contest, the Eavan Boland Emerging Poet Award from Poetry Ireland, the 2022 Poet-to-Come Award by the Walt Whitman Birthplace Association, an NEA Fellowship and other awards.
